Conveyancing

Conveyancing is where many otherwise good property transactions lose momentum. It is also the stage that many buyers and sellers underestimate until delays start to build.

What conveyancing actually covers

It is the legal transfer of ownership. That includes searches, title checks, mortgage work, enquiries, contracts, and completion. Most people experience it as the slow, administrative part of a property sale or purchase.

Cheap is not always cheap

The cheapest quote can still end up being the slowest or least responsive option. A poor conveyancer can easily destroy the advantage of strong local demand or a well-priced property.

Why it matters to the product

UK Property Index helps on the pricing and market side. But even a strong pricing decision still depends on the transaction being executed cleanly, and conveyancing is a major part of that reality.
